Hey Drybear, is your window tinted? It doesn't look like in the pics since anyone can see through it during day or night. Tint won't protect you 100% against thef but it's a lot safer than showcasing your gear through clear glass....

Yeah, I have tints in the rear (tints in the front is illegal in Cali), and she was parked out in my driveway. Normally shes in the garage, but the 5G was in the garage awaiting surgery. The 8G is now back in the garage to heal, so I'm going to pimp the 5G as is for now.

actually 70% tint is legal I think isn't it? I believe thats what I have on the fronts and at night its pretty dark in the car

see dont you hate that shit, the one time you let your guard down, you get hit. thats what happened to me when they got into my car. i lost a lot of shit too. my car still gets fucked with, but by the time i get out of bed and to the window they done left. around here break ins happens around 3am-4am.

i agree with you Len i cant wait for the day i catch them. we keep a bats next to the door in the inside and one on the outside. and my dad done said if we catch them he's down to wipe some ass as well. cause they've broken into his truck as well.

Not to talk bad about anybody in particular in this forum......for sure anyone who gets offended by what I am about to say may lead me to believe they may have a bit of guilt deep inside......but people......Do we really know and trust everybody in this forum? do we know what are the real intensions of some of the people that sign in here? Just a thought....definately there is comun theft everywhere on the streets these days, but there is also the possibility that there could be some people (fellow members) that know exactly what other members have in their cars...sometimes know where we live...then they want something you have.....and BAAAMMMM!!! your car gets broken into. Call me skeptical, but that's the reason why I don't go to car meetings....people see your stuff and then could follow you home.....Sorry, I don't mean any harm by this.

I think drybears break-in is random. Some lowlife ricer down the street can easily point out an intercooler and gauges. anyone with basic car modding knowledge knows how much the HUD and the gauges are worth. They probably scouted the car beforehand before actually breaking in. It's really unfortunate that this goes on in our society. All I know is if I ever catch anyone breaking into my car, I'm breaking into their face with my breaker bar and cutting their fingers off.

That is why i NEVER advertise my home address online. If someone wants to jack someone's stuff not going to car meets really doesn't matter. And of course there are the malicious petty punks that steal based on what they see on car forums, its just how it goes nowadays, you can't get around a bunch of internet douches.
