when I ride the 18 "the car up to 1" inch if the 15 "is 3 inches from the ground, with the 18` s is 4 " ,not much difference

The difference is because of the overall diameter of the tires that are on those wheels. Otherwise the actual ride height doesn't change. If you all would actually read what I posted about: Proper Tire Sizing; you'd see that is plainly obvious. I'm not sure why people don't ever use their resources before asking questions or giving advice.

If you are running 195/65R15s (24.98") and 225/40R18s (25.08") the height difference is negligible. Air pressures also affect a vehicles ride height. Running factory air pressures (as you always should be when under normal street driving), would also make irrelevant any differences, if any, between the different tire sizes.

Here is my daily POS. Most folks know when I bough it. I paid 800 for it last year. Not looking to fix it up at all. It gets me from point A to point B, runs good and that's all I want from it. Today a buddy gave me these for free, so I slapped them on there, they are... 17x7 +42mm came off a Prelude. Free is Free, right??

Well if you dont care how it looks and you're happy then thats all that matters. Me personally I would at least want it to be uniform.

I was wondering why you stuck around the forums Ray.. I had no clue you still had a Galant.. Usually when people get something else they leave and we'll never hear from them again..

Well I never had a 3g either but I've been a member at club3g for about 3 years now. I bought my first 8G in 99 when the 8G model first came out. I've had 3 since. The fenders, hood and front bumper on this one all came from my first G, red one. It's kinda sentimental to have one around and probably always will. I like TGC so even if I didn't have a G, I'd still be round simply because I like a lot of folks here, you included dude, and it's cool to see people get excited about their 8Gs knowing that a lot of us paved the road for the new 8G owners. When I bought my 8G, there were no parts to do anything.

BTW your tails look great, but they need some clear coat. Give some shine back to them.
