Most feel so good to be able to fabricate yourself any bumper or part you want (if you have the mold) whenever you like.
Cali, Galante, Censee's car look awesome, damn liberal grill is really popular.

That will be off the hook, with little work and money, you can get entire evo engine, turn it sideways and make the G RWD, you know that right? Do something different, everyone's doing the evo head swaps. You car is hot, keep that streak going, if you just do a head swap, the glory stops since so many have done the same exact thing before you. That's just my opinion, kno wha I mean jelly bean..lol?

Alot of the EVO guys doing this are using alot of 1 off parts and sequential gearboxes from either PPG or Hollinger that are really race only type trannies. With that being said, depending on your power goals, you can make the car RWD, pretty much by doing the opposite of what I did on my 8g. You would weld the center diff in the trans, have a solid diff tube made to go from the center diff into the front diff (in the transfer case) you would remove the front diff from the transfer case all together or leave it, although its better out to save weight. Then install aluminum plugs into the holes where the front axles went. Now you would just use the 2g auto rear and custom driveshaft. Essentially it would be the AWD swap but then eliminate the front drive axles and diff. I bet it would hold 400-500whp or so, anything more you would be breaking that diff tube, transfer case or rear diff. This is how the early EVO 8's were converted for drifting.

That. Would. Be. AWESOME!
i fixed ur post so the movie would show. great job on the plate motor! i'm glad my idea from last time we saw each other at MOD09 worked out! i tried to figure out how to do it on my car but since i would have to mount it on the bottom of my bumper it would be way too low as i have less ground clearnce allready, i would scarpe the bottom of the plate when it was up and srape the entire plate when it was down; i installed the manual version on my cousin's benz, but his bumper is so short it doesn't hurt ground clearance that bad. dope job, it looks sweet!

For that Supra tranny to work on a RWD Evo would it have to be mounted 90 degrees from what it is now with custom mounts and everything? It looks like the drive shaft is exiting the side of the motor now, or am I looking at it wrong.

^^ the cam gears would be at the front of the car. The drive shaft would come out of the rear of the transmission (the skinny end) and is in line with the engine + transmission assembly. From there it would go to a rear differential to be translated into forward movement. Not sure if that answers your question but that's the best I can do
