I went through your whole build thread today and all i have to say is WOW!!!!. Great job!
I do have a question what type of paint did you use for this? i like how it has the OEMish look to it. And how well has it stood up to scratches??

NIce revival!! Its Satin black paint, the cheapest you can find in Walmart. It holds up good.

Now its been a while since my last post in this thread, and i have collected many parts. Here's a lil show off. Most likely engine wont be ready before MOD, but I hope me and Skrap will be able to put everything else on. I have a couple of things I dint take pictures, it will be a teaser for MOD.

Lets start with some interior stuff. I know its dirty.

    Leather hand brake boot

    Safc Neo

    Diamante arm rest

    Engine

Brian Crower valve springs and retainers

    Revised lifters, OEM valves

    ACL race bearings

Evo 3 oil cooling capable filter housing

Some of the things Ive posted before

Wiseco pistons 9.0:1 CR, STD bore
    7 bolt Eagle Rods
    ARP head studs

The entire head assembled with Evo 3 intake manifold

    Evo 8 ECU

New set of backing plates with Evo brembo brakes

Power steering cooler off 97 Sonata.

Collected a few tools this summer

Pistons and rods are being shipped to FL to get balanced and put together with the correct clearances. i also bought a 3g crank, but the guy on club3g scammed me and i havent seen the crank

Ive been thinking about this for some time but never had the means to cut these off the bumper, so I went to the junk yard today armed with some cutting tools.

I got these off a Pontiac Grand Prix (the rear bumper to be more specific).

These seem to be a perfect fit to the rear bumper

Now I have to figure out a way to fit them with the rear mud flaps.

    Installation pics to come

Nice man. Are those eagle rods new or used? I remember about 3 years ago they had a big problem with bearing fitment, saying to use 1g bearings with 7bolt rods and they had issues even still. Just make sure yours are spec'd out properly. Thats how my original built evo 7 motor died, threw a rod bearing using those BS 1g bearings in the 7bolt rods like eagle suggested. Eagle has come a long way since then, they manufacturing tolerance and quality control have been very good as of late.

they are brand new, just sitting in the basement where is very humid. I sent the pistons and rods to a machine shop to have them put together within specs.

Nah, I believe DohcStunr's Galant is far more complete than mine. I still get to do the DOHC swap and ECU upgrades.

Anyway, Thanks guys I appreciate that someone's still looking at my thread and actually paying attention
