    MKO, that brace going to the front of the car won't do any good. Nothing past the front shock towers is structural. You could pretty much cut everything off past there and it wouldn't make a difference. Triangulating your shock towers to the firewall will be a lot more helpful as will tying your k-member together underneath.

    If you go with the 2.4 middle cover you need to use the sheetmetal backer (above water pump) from the 2.4 dohc as well. I just found out the hard way they don't match.

    Thats what i've been doing for the past couple of days

    before



    and after







    I busted the dr. side rear knuckle trying to press out the last stock bushing i had on there. I got one off 8th gen, and the thing is more massive where the hub bolts up. Unfortunately, I didnt get the bolts for the hub assuming they were the same so I have to make another trip to the jy tomorrow

    I'll be buying a RVR EEPROM and after the summer i'll be getting DSM Link since they now support the Evo1-3 and RVR. Let me see what you've done

    The GS EEPROM rom data is the same as the RVR/EVO 1-3...just socket the ECU using the EVO 3 hex file.

    honestly, I hate green on cars (sorry to anyone here with a green car lol) so I'm going to say bright silver!

    Do you have cliffs in NJ? ;)

    It is tough when things are going wrong. Just remember that every car has issues. At least you know what they are on this one.

    Sometimes I wish my windshield would crack. Its heavily pitted. But i don't really want to replace it with some aftermarket safelite garbage. I want a new OEM windshield.
