Seems like some of you have never seen a slim battery. I know alot of Evo and DSM guys who use them to save space.

If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.

Yeah they are pretty cool and reduce weight and space and they are good if you need the battery moved over for an intake or something.

Battery looked like a Tomioka or XS.

also on another note, people run small batteries to save space as mention above, But to shed a few pounds also. Remember all you need is for it to turn the motor over after that your alternator is running most of your electronics. (talking racing applications of course.)

I wouldn't run that slim battery alone for heavy lighting, audio and accesories.

Weight savings is the goal of those Braille CF batteries. They can weigh up to 50# less than your original battery.

I'm confused, is that supposed ot be 50%?
cause this battery is 11.5 lbs, old battery used to be 35-40 lbs I think? I can't remember.

Anyway, of course I don't have a system in the car and I don't listen to music with the car not running.

No, some reason the lb symbol came out like that. What I meant with that was in some cases the Braille lightweight batteries can save you up to/as much as 50lbs. In our cars, you are right the original battery is actually fairly small, and likely weighs in around 30-40lbs. So, you saved yourself a very solid 25lbs, if not more. Great weight reduction for our cars! Good to hear it is running strong!
