Yeah that is a big difference,i was just curious to see if you absolutely needed the 5 lug swap for it.The 6g rotors and the 2g dual piston caliper set up looks like what i would be doing then. That is just bolt on from what i was told to do that.
Nah man, the difference is too big. You need the evo rotor for the swap

I wonder what the size are for the WorldSpec 7G dual piston 4 lug rotors

I dont see why they'd have 2 different size rotors with the dual piston caliper. I mean 3000gt SL, some 1g GSX, all 2g GSX, 6gvr4, 1g and 2g Diamante have the same dual piston caliper. They should all have 275mm rotors

I'm still not sure why you need that much toe adjustment. Mine was set perfectly to OEM spec using the factory control arms and prothane bushings.
But anyways.... Having a proper alignment is where its at haha isn't it?
Omg once I finally got everything to spec the car became sooo much more predictable, and I'll swear till the end that it improved the ride quality dramatically.
Keep it coming bro!

Idiots around here dont know anything about making the alignment meet the specs... Ive fought alignment issues for the past 3 years and ive been screwed every single time.... I give up so now i have a steering wheel that isnt straight, a car that pulls with the slightest crown on the road, and camber thats almost 2 degrees different on the rear from one side to the other.... Tell me that aint some shit. Ive bitched, argued and damn near jumped over counters but it doesnt help.
When I lived in PA, I always went to the Sears Center and they did a wonderful job dialing the suspension - camber, toe and caster. I always paid the $69.99 for the whole thing and it never took more than 45 min.
One of the shops quoted $300-500 for an alignment, because I could have taken them 4-6 hrs to dial the camber. I was like HELL NO and I left!!
Dude, if you have camber kits installed and the shop dont want to do camber, Ill tell you the easiest way to do it.
Get a leveler, put it vertically across the wheel/tire and try to get it right in the middle with the camber kit. It will take you a few tries, but its worth the hassle. Then just take it to the shop and get the usual toe/caster alignment.
I guess I should have multiple-quoted on this one.....ha haha
Sears did do a good job with my gf's 2g, but i was limited to places i could go due to the body kit, that i no longer have.. I dont put but MAYBE 2500 miles on the car a year so its not like ive been driving daily on a fucked up setup. Im going to go to sears when i get the funds, but ive just held off till the time i can do my sway bar swap and prothane bushings to be honest. The car isnt eating tires or anything so i just deal with it.
This project is officially over. Time to move on!!
What happened??
