I believe he's got another 7G GS shell he's gonna build up.

Picked this up today. Someone stole my Integra on the 14th and the insurance declared it a total loss.

She has 169k miles, good body except for the front where the PO rear ended someone (JDM goodie time). The motor is blown and that is getting replaced this weekend.

    Car - $700
    Engine - $450
    Labor - $450

Plus the mechanic said that while the new motor is out he will change my gaskets and timing belt for just the price of the parts! Good deal if I say so myself.

Actually did look for a 74 engine and could not find one near by. My rental gets taken away on Tuesday and the mechanic said that if I get the car to him tomorrow morning he MIGHT be able to get her running by then. If I had the time to spare to look for one I would do it though.

As for the 5 speed, that will happen later on down the road. I'm going to focus on getting her running and then the next thing up will be jdm goodies and a drop. Also might throw an exhaust in between the two lol.

Nice pickup for the price, make sure to keep that valve cover, it's the better-looking somewhat rare one. Welcome home!! All you non-Galant owners can come back anytime!!!

Thanks man. I was supposed to buy a Galant from a Houston member on the site but I couldn't get a hold of him to talk about it. As for the valve cover I was lurking the forums a few months back and saw (I think) Beams post saying he needed one and saying it was rare so I asked my mechanic to keep it for me lol

Nice Sig might have to use it.
Also nice pick up on the g. I got my red one like that, $500 for car with bad motor, $650 for motor, and me and b19wheels swapped parte + a little cash for the install.

Yeah it was Adrian (beam513) who schooled me on that, I sold two to him, I still have one taking up space around here, I should probably sell it. And yeah, I want one of those houses!

Haha that isn't my house sadly! We're too broke to afford a gated condo lol. That was the house of the seller. His wife and her brand new BMW like it as well..

Thanks for the support guys! Like I said, first thing is to get her running. I stopped by the mechanics tonight after work to take a look at the new motor and it has the same valve cover at the current motor lol. Like I said, there is some front end damage but it doesn't come off as too hard to fix.
