How did you take off the leather? I know there's staples but I also saw some black circle things and idk if that was also holding it up.
I dont think he took the vinyl or leather off,it looks like he put that foam stuff over the top of it.If you look closely where the vent use to be you can see that.
i took off the leather.
the staples are only in a few spots for edging. my new cover material has matting on it so no need for factory foam. if you want an even/smooth adhesion surface you need to take off 90% of the foam. leave just enough that you have a surface between the plastic and the new material for the adhesion to take place. you can sand down to the plastic but you run into adhesion issues. the foam is super absorbant so if you spray a good layer of adhesive you shouldnt get any bubbles or air pockets after its fully settled.
oh and after your tittie break be prepared to vacuum like a cheap maid or you wont get tittie time again for a month.....
