Cut the dash on the miata, fixed a lot of the body damage on the m3, drove the galant for the first time in 3 days to pick up some pizza for the hungry work crew in my garage/drive way :)

So, attempted to do the install today, completely failed as I don't have all the tools necessary.

Will attempt later this week, or be lazy and just pay a shop to do it. W/e.

Continuing to dry out the passenger side of my carpet from what I'm assuming is a clogged evaporator drain. I've had the carpet lifted back to air out since about 11pm and it's now a lil past 2 am. I figure 3 or 4 am I'lll catch some z's and wake up at 7, and set the room heater I have back in the car aimed at the underside of the carpet. Actually did wonders vs letting it dry naturally. Then another treament of lysol even though no mold is present.

Question, Im probably gonna have to take my car to a shop to try and let them blow the drain tube out since I don't have a compressor. Until then, I shouldn't have more water come in unless I use the a/c right? Unless its coming in by the foam around the drain tube right (which I doubt cause drivers side is dry)?

Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll have completely dry.

did some major work on my car today:
-changed all 4 brake disks and linings, all Akebono, decided to keep the 256 mm size, was thinking very hard about upgrading to 276, but I want to keep my 15" rims as the roads here are incredibly awful and anything 17 and up is really not worth it for the kidneys (that's what we say in Bulgaria when the road is bumpy!!)
-changed my shocks (or maybe it's called absorbers, not sure) from the stock ones, after 14 years of service!! (I think they were KYB) to Monroe Reflex (not the best choice, but the best choice for the money)
-changed all 4 stabilizer rod/bar links (Lockheed), had to cut through the old ones, as they were really rusty and rotten...

next on the list is changing the metal part above the 2 rear wheels (in Bulgarian we call them "eyebrows", not sure what the English term is) as it became rusty after this winter, but this will happen on next month's paycheck :)
after that - paint, and I think am set for the summer!

Yesterday I went to my wheel/tire shop, bought some new tires, had Ingalls rear camber kit installed, and had the front lowered down some more :)

^Those but sourced them from my local tire shop. They sold them to me @ $90/tire which included mounting and balancing + tax.

Yeah neither have I, but I dont get too caught up in name brands with anything. Im usually willing to give new companies a shot when they have their product at economical prices. The owner of the tire shop said that people who bought them from him raved about how well they performed and gripped the road. Also they had all the specs I wanted as far as All-Season Performance tire, 400 treadwear rating, W speed rating, appealing tread design, and a rounded sidewall, so I gave them a shot.

Some off brands do have good tires, but those don't look like all seasons, though. But you're in Cali, so I doubt you'll see snow.

400 treadwear isn't bad, keep up the tire rotations and you'll probably see over 45,000 miles from them.

^Here's another link showing a description which lists them as All Season tires.
But you're right I dont see snow where I am in Cali, but I wanted All Season tires that would hold up year round out here. So far I love them! They have great traction and are quiet & smooth.

They may be listed as an "all season", but going by that aggressive tread, snow would be a nightmare. The General Exclaim UHPs on my ROHs are considered all seasons, got hit with as surprise snow storm back in late March in '11, horrific in the snow.

But hey, they look like excellent dry/wet tires.
