Today I obtained my rear brake assembly from junkyard. Very excited to get on that this weekend. First though is removing rusted out backing plate and cleaning them. They look really cruddy, but the rotors and pads seem pretty decent. Also snagged some 03' headlights, those black housing ones? Anyways it looks nicer then my old foggy ones.

You could have just taken them apart, clean and paint. You would have had the same result

I know...in my head I liked to think it wouldn't look so bad with new wheels (even though they are same size as old ones). Already pricing out GR-2s and Tein S Tech springs.

Old center caps had allen on them. Turns out they weren't more than show lol. Had to just pry them off anyways.

I took the picture while at the junkyard. Pulled and noticed rust. I will be cleaning this thoroughly and paint it. Took me a while too to pull of just one, its been there for a while.

he was saying u can open up ur OEM heads (the chrome ones) and clean it and paint it and get the same results

Brakes and wheels done! Time to start researching GR-2's and Tein S Techs. Got a bit of a clunk in suspension that I can hear now that I have much less road noise. Guess I should look into other parts of the suspension too...

Working on suspension now lol, and lack of gas door is for speedy refueling! I actually had a deal with another member for a matching door, but I was having some issues mid-move from Ohio back home to NJ and things kinda got away from me.
