Also, what size charge piping are you using? You don't want to go too big or you'll sacrifice a lot of speed in spool time and loss of efficiency.

A big intercooler is important but air flow through it is just as much so. If you get air through it you'd be fine with a 3.5 inch unless you're going for way more power then I think you are. I'm going to have to start from page one!
MAP 2.4 LR stage 2. Should be able to rev safely to 9 although i think I'll rev limit at 8.5
Charge pipe is going to be atleast 3 if not 3.5. As far as the intercooler, I've seen builds on evo m so i kinda have an idea for a size for the power I'm looking for

What are your power goals, I'm guessing 800ish?

4.5" should be plenty up into the 900-1000 range.

Also, I'm not going Magnus V5 due to the low end power loss. I'm actually ok the fence about the AMS F1. I just read buschurs thread on the hi boost forums and it seems Driven Innovations is the move.

Do a google search for "Evo intake manifold testing" and you'll see one from HiBoost forums. That is Buschurs forum, Dave Buschur tested all the big names manifolds on the dyno and flow bench. Magnus V5 flowed the most CFM and made the most peak power but Driven Innovations manifold made slightly less peak but lost less power through out the powerband and had better spool.

There are no words right now to describe the carnage that will ensue once that car moves under its own power

The proper way and the way you'll end up doing it are probably going to be different. The proper way, is to install and degree each cam using a dial indicator, degree wheel and 4 solid lifters on cylinder #1. The way most people do it is install them like stock cams, retard each one -3 or -4 degrees to account for the taller deck height of the 4G64 block, time it, cross your fingers and hope for the best. LOL. That's the truth. Ive done it enough times to be comfortable with it. As far as physically installing them, use assembly lube, torque the cam caps to spec which is think is 15 ft/lbs. If you don't have new cam cap bolts, buy them. They are shitty M8 bolts that love to stretch, I had 2 snap on me during install on my motor and XD_01's motor, thank god they came out easy. When you go to get tuned you can make adjustments to the cam timing to tweak it while on the dyno.

Just turn it about 12 things and make sure nothing hits? My question was more towards putting pressure on the cams via the rockers
