    2800 lbs
    350 whp
will net me an 8:1 power to weight ratio

My evo x weighs 3600 with me in it and makes 450whp and has a power to weight of 8:1 ;)
I think you see where I'm headed.

cool deal, 2800 is super easy, my car is now down to 2690 with a full tank of gas and me in it, full interior still :)

Holy crap! Really? You know what power goal to go for. I could tell the car was under 2800 easy since Ivory was 26xx lbs with the buckets I put in. Tumbler feels slightly heavier but havent made it to a scale yet to see exactly where I'm at now.

Yeah. Two bride seats. Gutted trunk no rear sound deadening. Cf hood trunk. 5 spd swap. Lots of little stuff cut off or modified to be smaller. Small battery etc

  6. #486
yep exactly where ivory was minus the small battery. I cant wait for the tumbler to reach the same level.

Great build, dude. I'm learning so much reading through these build threads. The bed-liner was an interesting choice, but it looks absolutely fantastic. Now fix the dents! :P

Thanks man yeah I'm glad people can learn from my experiences. Uniqueness is always the way to go in my mind ^_^
The hood wont be staying so I'm not worried about the dents on that. The door either I'm gonna pop it out when I do the tint or I'm getting a replacement door.

Don't worry, you'll stay unique with that paint for a while! I'll be spraying the underside of my car with bed-liner one day in the near future (to prevent rust), but I'm most likely going to end up going metallic black topside. I'm learning a lot about how things come apart, and what parts and pieces work for people, reading these epic build threads. I just wish the community was larger... it really seems like there are only a handful of active members, with REALLY effin' nice cars.

There are indeed. I like the community being small. Keeps our cars unique and the cost of parts down :)

On a side note I'm being lazy, dont feel like putting my intercooler on as it wont be until the weekend that the turbo will make round 2 to go in LOL.

While that's nice, it would be pretty cool to have more than, say, 9 people who are only on at certain times that know everything.

Any driving yet? Get some vids up, I can't wait to see. Must be a record for fastest build ever!

I have miles of clearance between the starter and the turbo. The manifold is awesome. Found out from the person I inherited it from that its an evo 8/9 obx manifold designed from the invidia mani with the wastegate arm rotated and rewelded. no spacers or anything. I have an obx o2 housing as well. On monday she's getting the downpipe and the exhaust will be all done.

Nope not yet. Just drove her around the block and then took her home from my buddies house since its still O2 housing straight to atmospere. She's only running wastegate pressure at 4-5 lbs and no mbc or anything. Im amazed that it feels as good as it does for such little boost. HAHA and I wonder if I hold the fastest build record?
