I looked at it. too cold in the garage
Yeh, it was $50 after my gift card. Still wasn't too much total though. I know theres a lot of speculation on Infinity, especially the reference series... but I'm not looking to go crazy with the audio in this car... and I've always liked the clarity. Install will be in the spring.
Oh ok, I was a bit concerned for a second. I like the ingenuity there!
Took out the passenger axle (3/8 ratchet or wrench is the only thing that will work for the V6 axle bracket), took out the driver side axle (pretty easy, it literally took 5 minutes, the passenger axle took a few hours because of the axle bracket and I didn’t know about the dowel pins), got the 3 motor mounts out and starter, all sensors unpluged, just have 1 tranny bolt left (I can't move it because of the distributor cap is in the way) but everything is well supported, once again it got too dark or else I would have dropped the tranny, I'm working outside and no outside lights, but I wont be able to do anything else for 2 weeks thanks to work schedule. Its going really smooth.

De que estamos hablando?
Didn't do nothing but get pissed off that my other kyb gr-2 strut in the rear is blown. Drivers rear blew last month, so I put the oem strut back on plus stock springs for both sides. Figured raising the rear back to stock height would save the one remaining gr-2 strut in the back, since it was still ok. Look today, and see its now leaking also. Shoulda just got agx's like I did for my old s14. GR-2's are a complete waste of money. Front is still lowered, and doing fine on it's gr-2's, even with the weight bias being more to the front. Just a heads up for anyone considering gr-2s. Agx's or coils, case closed smh
Gr-2's going on 2 years on the daily. No problems.
BTW kyb through Oreilly Auto have lifetime warranty. I work there, I know the price isn't rock auto or eBay but you only have to buy them once then swap when they blow.

I didn't drain it because the stock auto tranny broke and spued fluid all down the road as I was driving (alot and then a big puddle where it stopped moving) so I thought there was nothing left in there, I was wrong. I don't know if you can tell but it was really dark and probably burnt. Taking the tranny from the bottom is a pain in the ass, it probably took the longest of anything I've done so far, gotta find that perfect angle so it doesn't hit the subframe.

Mine didn't even make it year..wouldn't have reached it until june to be exact smh. I don't auto-x or nothing like that, and took it as easy as possible on speed bumps, and dodge man/pot holes when possible. At most I took the expressway ramps kinda hard...but occasionally .
Rear suspension on the daily is tight now. Lil stiffer than I like but it will soften.
