Finished up my new audio install today

Since the wall blocks my trunk light I added LED strips to each side to add some illumination.

Yeah with all the LSD talk these days, Jigz's BabyG unfortunate situation and since I'm opening the trans due to a oil leak, I just want to take that off my list of concerns.

Lol I figured that but I couldn't do it, when I peeled it a piece of the paper got stuck to it and I had to carefully peel that off

For jdm heads cant go wrong with either TSX or S2K projectors.

^^S2K's are pricey, but SO worth it if you're an HID fiend like myself. Their output with a clear lens is perfect. Those and LS430's, can't be beat. However, THEY ARE NOT CHEAP!

TSX's are good, TL's are worlds better (but hard to pull off cleanly), FX-R's are great, RX330's are great, especially with a curved shield mod, they're on par with the S2K's once you put a curved shield in.

However, Audi HID's probably use the Hella design like the Mercedes E55's, BMW E46's, and Evo X's (which are the newest design) and those are all great projectors too, can't go wrong with either.

If you get them from a pick-n-pull, check out the bowls, make sure they are clean, not oxidized, not scratched. All that kills output. If so, just head over to TRS and order some EVOX-R projectors if you're dead set on that style of projector, or any of the other ones they have, the Morimoto ones require little to no cutting to install. Hope this helps, good luck!

I soooo need to move already so I can do my own retrofit....

Here it is, almost done with it. Need to adjust and clean the lens. (Ignore gaps, didn't bolt in right away as I need to change a few things beforehand)

I know my engine bay is dirty but I finally put on the powder coated stuff spdracr did for me. New plugs and plug wires, new gaskets.
The FSM said 39 inch pounds for the valve cover bolts, my torque wrench does foot pounds, so is inch pounds is pretty much a little bit over hand tight?

    Before

    After

I'll get a day light pic after work, my flash kinda bleached out the purple, it looks better in the day light.

Installed a ebay oval muffler on Tuesday that replaced the N1 that basically fell apart.
Then today i made a quick vid on how it sounds. In person its quieter then the N1 there's a hint of rasp at redline which i never hear under load. Overall its decently smooth and not obnoxious i can listen to my stereo now but still hear the muffler when im on the throttle..
