Could you stretch wire mesh over it and clamp it down, if u can't run a filter?

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...assified=false maybe this if you don't wanna make one.
No prob, hope it works out. Now the bung, what are you thinking seems wrong?
farrrout. i hope im not silly in assuming this is still 2.4L? absolutely perfect build. id love a 4g64t, front faced turbo, awd galant
If I'm not mistaken on the stock exhaust setup with the dreadful check p0410 code that calls for an o2 sensor. The fix for that was to install a spacer to pull the sensor out a bit from the stream to fix the code.
So if that's the case I don't see that bung being a problem.
I could be wrong though.

no, you are correct 4g64 2.4L long rod though, its a little different set up than the stock block.
well this is for the wide band so I think I need it in the stream, but then again I cannot find any hard info on this.
So just a little update. I have a busy life right now, 2 college classes, full time job, and out processing the military. Though I am still working on the G, most my free time is devoted to homework sadly lol. But I still plan to get it started and break it in before the winter hits. The subframe, which is THE piece i'm really waiting on is purchased and ships out tomorrow. So hang tight.
I feel you man. I started my path to my mechanical engineering bachelor two days ago. Got 4 classes this semester and I work too. So time will be consumed with homework.

ok ok ok busy busy busy here is the wonderful subframe with an evo 8 left control arm and an evo 9 right control arm. I think there is a difference between the 8 and 9 because my right tire sticks out a little bit more than the left side. you can actually see the difference. Any who some pics of whats up
Tacked up the exhaust
pulled it all out and welded in one piece... I think that was a mistake lol oh well and 3.75 inches of ground clearance.
doing a rough alignment based on a write up on this forum
and how she sits. waiting on intercooler piping to be done. As you may know we had a big storm and many people lost power for about a week, some are still with out any.
Well the guy that has my piping lost power, so hopefully this weekend I should have it. Then all i has to do is boost leak test and flash it from the tuner, and give it a start. Gotta try and find some e85 though in town haha
currently how she sits.

Thanks man. Roxie, but I might need to change it, as Roxie had a big operation lol
Thanks bro! Done? no never, but Running that is the key lol. I already have a couple things in me head that I might do. IDK yet
Hope they get the power back so you can get the piping done. Look fwd to this hitting the street.
Jared this is soo awesome. Makes me build look like a high school auto class project compared to yours.
As far as the wideband YES it HAS to be in the exhaust stream for the most accurate reading. You also want to make sure that it is welded on the top side of the pipe to avoid fuel pooling I. The sensor.
