I should be rebuilding mine next year, 1st to 2nd is suuch a rough shift sometimes it almost feels like the rear wheels hop, and 2nd to 3rd slips terribly anytime now, only 98k. :smh:

We all know that most of the time torque is the main issue on boosted cars. But still even if you have professional tune on stock 4B11T with low torque and 500+WHP I still won't trust that. Thats like driving a time bomb. Lol

I rather to hear from people that my car is slow than having a blown engine. Hehehe....

This. If I'm not mistaken, those x's were tuned at DB Performance. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

    ^ this.
"real tunes" have nothing to do with it in this case. pushing the car too hard is what it boils down to. the stock components will fail under that much stress and let go. tunes only go so far if you dont have components to put up with the stress. Stock 4b11 can support 600 whp for one or two pulls. good luck doing it more than that. a component will fail. but i guess with that logic you can say my car makes 600 whp LOL.

What? Polish said those cars have been going for quite a while, they're obviously doing something right.

Im just offering advice thats it. Not getting into arguments by any means. As i said from what i have seen its best to be over cautious with the evo x. i didnt want to see him blow his car. end of story.
